I don’t know how to start. I have been married for a year and I have a child who is 8 months old. At the beginning my husband and I were deeply in love, we went out often. I was really jealous when he looked at different women. A few months after our child was born, he changed completely. He scolded me all the time, he tried to be a good father, but things didn’t work well.
He kept nagging at me to go away, to leave him. He told me I didn’t do what he wanted…We didn’t go out at all because he was always angry with me.
And I stayed at home. I tried to change the situation. I talked to him but he never listened. I asked our friends to talk to him, too. I even suggested we could attend marriage guidance. But there was no result…He started drinking a lot. One day he hit me and I left him.
The next months were very difficult for me. I was alone and with a baby. It was really hard. I lived in lodgings and it was only my landlady, aunt Zina, who helped me with advises. She even took care of the baby sometimes. She is just a good person.
Aunt Zina wrote to the imam on my behalf. She told him everything and he answered her. I found all that recently because she told me. All that time I thought some kind of a miracle had happened…And the miracle happened gradually. Aunt Zina gave me a talisman for the child and I accepted it. Soon after that my husband called just for no reason. He said he wanted to see the child.
That’s how it started. Everything centered on the child and her talisman. Now we are together again, the three of us. He doesn’t drink anymore. He is completely new person. Or rather he is the person he used to be – kind, caring, and attentive. I hope we would be four soon. And if we have a daughter again, her name will be Zina. I will never forget that she was the person who made the contact with Berkant. Thank you.
